Our Arts Award Offer

Our museums and galleries have a huge amount to offer children and young people taking part in Arts Award. All our nine venues are proud to be Arts Award Supporters.

Our Learning teams understand how the Arts Award works and can tailor our workshops and programmes to help you achieve your Arts Award.

Arts Award Delivery

If your school are thinking about completing an Arts Award with your pupils and don't have a member of staff trained as an adviser we can work in partnership with the class teacher to develop and deliver elements of your Arts Award. In addition we can also moderate the Arts Award booklets of evidence your pupils create.

Arts Award Support

If your school are already delivering their own Arts Award, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums are registered as an Arts Award Supporter. This means that our learning staff are able to advise on the best workshops to take part in to help you achieve elements of your Arts Award. Contact our venue learning teams if you would like to discuss Arts Award.
