A case study on how Cambois Primary School is creating persistent learners

We visited Cambois Primary School, to find out how they have worked with creative practitioner Sophie Crocker to help support the staff in developing their own creative practice and how they can use creative thinking to adapt and plan their own lessons.

A case study on Benton Dene Special School

The film below made with Benton Dene Special School focusses on how the teachers plan and adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of their SEN pupils. This would have been the first film in a two part series sadly due to COVID-19 the children were unable to continue with their performance and we, therefore, couldn't film the final production.

A case study on Cragside Primary School

As part of our Creative Classrooms CPD programme for primary school teachers, we visited Cragside Primary School who ran a Shakespeare schools festival project in conjunction with Northern Stage.

The play chosen for the school was The Tempest and the main focus for the project was to embed it in standard lesson time and to ensure that the process was pupil led.
