This First World War resource is intended for use by Key Stage 3 pupils it uses excerpts from primary sources held by the Museum to present case studies about employees of the North Eastern Railway during the early years of the 20th Century. Pupils will discover the experiences of employees of the North Eastern Railway (NER) at the time, and in doing so will develop skills through inquiry based learning.
