#CanDoMusic is a UK-wide campaign that aims to ensure all children and young people can access musical learning in school. BBC Teach - Bring the Noise song

Use the Bring the Noise song to encourage music learning at home or in the classroom. The specially composed song is designed to encourage music participation for primary school children aged four to seven-years-old.

Pass the sound 

Build up rhythmical patterns using body sounds. Pass The Sound is a shared learning resource, offering free warm-up, skills and workshop exercises for musicians or specialists to use whilst facilitating group music-making contexts.

Théâtre Sans Frontières

We have a charming song in French for 6-11 years to learn. Taken from our popular show for schools Les Aventures de Lapin (The Adventures of Rabbit) it celebrates the eating of fruits from the Caribbean, particularly Bananas. The song is called: Moi, j’adore les Bananes.

Sage Gateshead 

Every year at Sage Gateshead, musicians participate in the Big Sing by writing songs for children and young people to learn. The theme of this year’s Big Sing is climate change. While this year’s concerts can’t take place, teachers can still get their pupils to create a mini-concert at home using the digital songbook and online tutorials.
